It’s been a long but productive week. I’m kind of exhausted. What about you?
- Our photoshoot yesterday was a smashing success! Jeni from Seastar Arts shot it, Courtney from Curiosity styled it with her amazing vintage rentals,Kristen Solecki brought some of her beautiful art (and was forced into wearing an orange dress!), and blogger Carly Totten from Going to the Chapel made some awesome letters + DIY fans. I cannot wait to share photos! Photoshoots are lots of work to bring together but so worth it. You just can’t get pictures like that on your own!
- It’s a birthday weekend in my world (yay R!) so I’m looking forward to a fun weekend.
- I’ve been working hard this weekend or organizing the upcoming busy Fall wedding season. It’s a challenge with invitations because the busy time for me always comes a few months ahead of the actual wedding, which can make it hard to plan your timeline right when you think of your “October brides.” That means they’ll want their invites in July/August. So out comes the calendar! I still find I like things like that written down as well as in a reminder calendar online. How do you organize your life?
- I got to help Hamby Catering design some packaging on the fly for a big presentation they did and it was so much fun. I need to recreate it and take pictures! It’s so exciting that I’m starting to get calls for those types of projects, which are probably my favorite. To me they really marry my more interiors related background with the graphic.
- I watched Avatar when it came on TV on Tuesday. I’m not a sci-fi type person at all, but for some reason I really like that movie. I guess it’s the gorgeous color and it’s such an impressive demonstration of technology.
