So, if you read my post from yesterday, you should know the deal here. I don’t cook and I am tired of fearing the kitchen (well, except the pantry, we’re on decent terms).

If you don’t have a blog, feel free to post an idea or a link in the comment. I’ll still consider it so you’ll be eligible for the free card!

It’s one week to the wedding day. It’s starting to feel very real! Also, if anyone would like to guest post during my honeymoon in November, drop me a note – I’d love to have you here! I’m probably going to pop in a couple times while I’m gone just because I can’t stand to be away from you :-) but it would be nice to have some posts in the meantime and meet some other bloggers!

That’s all for today. Happy weekend!

Ooops, I don't know if I did what I was supposed to do above in the right way. But first, your wedding day is one week away? OMG!!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations! The week before was the hardest for me. I had a fender bender and could not remember how to spell "street", but the day of was wonderful! You seem to be doing much better than I did! hahahaha

I am interested in entering a new recipe I just discovered, but I am trying to find a good substitute for the parmesan cheese you are supposed to sprinkle on top. It's a good easy recipe though that feels kind of gourmet (to me at least) and it's healthy!

Alrighty, well congrats on the final countdown! I can't wait to see pics!!!!

Hi Kristen, thanks for joining in! I actually like parmesan cheese though, so I don't know if that's why you were trying to substitute it or another reason :-)

I am really excited for this wedding week. I've been working on all sorts of fun paper (bc of course I would have a paper oriented wedding lol) and trying to enjoy it, but I know it will get stressful soon!

Yes, I was trying to find a substitute because you said you don't like cheese, but if you don't mind a little shredded parmesan cheese on top, then it will be a great recipe! I'd be happy to do a guest blog while you are honeymooning, too. I'd love to share how to make some pretty paper fortune cookies. They can be used as a fun treat for guests at their place setting or put in a bowl for holiday parties, etc. And you can make the fortunes whatever you want, so you can do themes, etc.

Thank you for stopping at my blog today! I am not sure if I did the link the way you wanted. Let me know if it is wrong. Weddings are always so much fun. I hope that your wedding day is beautiful and that you have lots of fun. Also your life after the wedding with your new husband is full of love and laughter.
