When I met with this Southern Protocol bride, I was beyond excited at the prospect of designing her save the date. She knew she wanted to really celebrate the destination aspect of her wedding, emphasize typography, and come up with some clever out-of-the-norm wording.

Charlestonian that I am, it was great fun to think about the highlights of my hometown, since this bride was sweet enough to give me the freedoms to be creative with both design and wording. I’m completely smitten with the end result!

Psst…you’ll also notice we made good use of the back of our save the date by listing accommodation options. It’s so good to give your guests advance notice, especially in Charleston, when hotels are nearly always booked.

These Charleston destination wedding save the dates are just. so. cool. This bride has amazing attention to detail for her big day! Because everyone, including the bride and groom, would be traveling, she decided to send the majority of the information with the save the date instead of with the invitation. It’s a different way to look at it that actually makes a lot of sense – especially for Charleston in the Spring, hotels are hard to come by!

It was truly a collaborative effort of ideas between the two of us, and I am in love with how they turned out.
