rainy summer days

It has been some kind of rainy here in Charleston this summer.  It’s nice in some ways because there is far less temptation to play hookie and head to the beach.  However, it also makes sitting on the sofa with a good book much more appealing.

    I do love the rain on occasion, and that’s why I appreciate it, because it’s rare here in SoCal. It’s pretty gloomy today here too, but no rain. It makes me want to lie on the couch and watch a good movie, or two, or three!

    Not gonna lie…I have the same “hookie” problems. When it’s sunny, I wanna be at the beach or the pool. When it’s rainy, I wanna cuddle up and read. So is the life of a work at home business owner! Loved your rainy day finds :)

    I wish I could say my favorite rainy day activity is reading, but these days it usually involves curling up on the sofa and catching up on my shows :) I’m loving that print at the bottom on the list…so cute! Would love that for my “office”.. ;)

      I’m the same way! I go through phases with reading. I’ll read like crazy for a month or two and then I stop for awhile. Not sure why.

    In Norway there is a little too much bad weather for my liking, and that’s one of the things I love the most about life in Spain, it hardly ever rains here! But when it does, (if I don’t have to go out…) I am actually enjoying it (from the inside) and I love curling up with a good book, and just listening to the rain outside while being warm and comfy inside!
