After a rainy week in Charleston, Friday is here at last. I must admit I’m counting the days pretty intently as we will be off to Amelia Island late next week. The sunshine + ocean air are calling my name! (psst, so if you want to guest post while I’m gone, email me!)
So, let’s wrap this week up so we can get on with the next one! :-)
- Happy Birthday to my not-so-little brother, who turned 22 yesterday. I can hardly believe we’re both all grown up now.
- Tomorrow we will be at the Lowcountry Artist Market, so please do stop by and say hello!
- If you didn’t get the newsletter I sent out yesterday, pop over and check out one of our newest little projects — Wrap It Up Pretty, where I’m offering a lot of the overstock packaging goodies + other fun things I tend to collect as part of dodeline.
- I bought a little inexpensive table at the antique store the other day (as in $15) and have been slowly bringing it back to life this week. I love doing those kinds of projects. I wish I had a place better than an apartment porch to do them in!
- I was inspired by Lindsay’s post, who’s a blogger I have been following for a very long time, about keeping it real. It’s really challenging to be so “out there” sometimes when maybe you’re going through a rough patch. Being real on a blog and in social media is a constant challenge!
- I got to meet several awesome brides this week. It really is so much fun to see how differently each person approaches a wedding. When one girl shows up with a binder crammed full of magazine clippings and the perfect color, the next asks me, “isn’t like regular black an option?”
- Two new websites have gone online — Earthling Day Spa + Cosmetic Answers.
- I successfully cooked several meals this week + dreamed up a new card line while literally dreaming, so that was rather cool.
How was your week? Big weekend plans? See you back here Monday!
