I was so excited yesterday to finally get my hands on a copy of the new Charleston Weddings Magazine. The shoot I participated in with Katherine Miller Events and Charleston Stems is featured and it looks so beautiful! You can view the gallery here.
Those signs were Katherine’s idea and such a fun collaboration. The sweetheart sign below was too — both were so much fun to make! Hardink Calligraphy contributed to the project too — she drew the “yeah yeah yeah” and the little wreath on the heart sign. I took her drawings and combined them with some clean graphics to make the paper.
And not only that, but this very little blog was published too!
I think that makes it official. I’m quirky — it’s been published.
So that was some excitement for the end of the week! In other news…
- Cooking class was a blast. We made an actual meal this time so we felt quite accomplished by the time it was over, and it was delicious!
- Realized I am 9 sales away from 1000 in the Etsy shop. That is completely crazy. Stay tuned, because when we hit 1000, there are new cards and other fun things ready to be revealed!
- Got to see my artsy aunt last Sunday. She had such a big part in my artistic training as a child – I remember sitting with her for hours and asking her how to draw things, make stuff, etc.
- Aanndd I’m drawing kind of a blank now. Guess it’s been a pretty standard week overall.
