Ever Been to NYC?

I am thrilled with my birthday present this year – a surprise trip to NYC at the end of April! Ahh! I have never been further north than Washington, DC, and I’ve been itching to go on a trip for awhile now, so this is just thrilling. I think it will be great to refresh my mind, take a little time out from work, and get inspired by a new place.

So, have you ever been? Where should I go?

Of course all the museum type places are on my list. We’re going to a Yankee’s game and a show. But food’s pretty important to me, as is design (duh!), so suggestions are much appreciated!

The thing I’m most curious about though, are Yankees as unfriendly as they say? Just kidding :-) It will be funny to see if I think I have an accent when taken out of my good ole’ Southern roots. There are such thick accents around here that most people say I don’t have one, but we’ll see if that holds true!
