Hello Dodeline Friends! This is photographer friend Jeni, here in Charleston! I have always dreamed of guest posting a beautiful wedding on a perfect low country day. Right here on Dodeline Design I get to talk about the love that surrounds two people as they prepare for their marriage. Lucky for me it was my dear friend Sarah so I knew y’all would want a preview!
AH-mazing weather happens year round here but in October there can be sparkling days that make your heart dance with joy…this particular Saturday was no disappointment. While I was able to wander around the downtown streets, following Sarah on Cloud Nine… I was able to capture the light & love that was drifting down from heaven.
Often times a bride will spend some time with me, finding the right light, place to stand and maybe, just maybe, we’ll find a spot or two… well Sarah was magical and everywhere she glided was dreamy…how to pick just a few? Well it was hard. The most touching was how Mom came to support, as a loving friend.
Details…that is what Dodeline says most to me. Precious thoughts captured so simply yet so elegantly to describe an event. Whitepoint Gardens is so very magical as the light filters through the ancient oaks and shines on all of us. From sharing her Grandmother’s brooch to the sweet hands that are holding before I DO, this was a spectacular day and beginning to a very very sweet marriage of two best friends. xo-jeni
